South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy wants to get things right, and this time he goes after former FBI Director James Comey. These two have gotten into some sort of a brawl, and now we get to witness another incident. It all started with the interview with Fox News’ Martha MacCallum.
Comey insisted that the hearing was supposed to be public. The former FBI Director tried to hide and cover his shady activities. However, Gowdy was here to sort things out.
Comey tweeted a screenshot of the story on the Daily Caller. “And I was worried this wouldn’t be dignified, open-minded search for the truth,” he wrote. Really?
Well, Comey probably had amnesia during his testimony. He lied the whole time, and Gowdy knew what he was doing. The article was based on the act that Gowdy ripped Comey. Gowdy quoted the former FBI Director, and commented, “Director Comey, I was disappointed in what you didn’t remember, but even more disappointed in what you never knew. I’ll see you on Monday.”
From The Daily Caller:
“Comey appeared in front of the House Judiciary and House Oversight and Government Reform Committees last week in a closed-door hearing. Gowdy’s jab at Comey comes after the former director said, ‘I don’t know’ or ‘I can’t recall’ nearly 250 times during the hearing.
The former director initially wanted to appear publicly but gave up after a brief legal battle.
The committees are investigating the FBI’s handling of the Clinton email and Trump-Russia investigations.”
Comey made a mistake at the very same moment he decided to go after Trey Gowdy. Is he bored or something? Trying to take down Gowdy and being a crooked criminal at the same time is the worst thing that you can do. Will someone call Comey and tell him that he has got some explanation to do?
