The story of this Arkansas grandpa is making headlines since the very first moment it went on social media. The grandpa was fed up with the armed punk who came to his home uninvited.
Local news source KSLA reported the story of the home invasion. On November 2, 2017, the 81-year-old man was at his home. He opened the garage and there was the armed punk that threatened him and pointed his gun at the grandpa. Well, the punk did not get things his way, that’s for sure. The terrible incident took place in Genoa, Arkansas, and it was confirmed by Miller County Sheriffs.
“I walked outside the door, and he was standing right there with a big pistol. I had my hand in my pocket on my pistol, and the battle was on,” Buddy Cates said in his interview. The man was robbed 6 times in 10 months, and he decided to do something about that.
Cates and the thug opened fire at each other. Can you imagine the old man trying to protect his life?
The attacker was identified as Shemar Harris, 18, who is also called “Pablo Bouta’bag Harris” and “Marblow DiNero.”
The grandpa and Harris exchanged 15 rounds. Cates was not shot, but his attacker received a deadly shot and died at the Texarkana hospital.
“Whoever got the biggest gun and fastest will be boss when it is all said and done. … In this case, it was me,” Cates said. He was not charged, because he was defending his life.
Tamenia Atkins and Jessica Green posted about Harris and his previous arrest. The 18-year-old thug was arrested on August 5, 2017 by Texarkana Texas Police after robbing sporting goods store. He used a stolen gun, of course. What more can you expect from such a thug?
