Maxine Waters seems to be enjoying her five minutes of fame, but she forgets one simple thing. American patriots will never support her. Moreover, people in this country are fed up with her anti-Trump comments. It was about time for Waters to face reality and realize that even her own people are turning against her.
In one of her public appearances, Maxine Waters encouraged her Democrat friends to confron the President’s supporters and the members of the Trump administration. Well, this rhetoric did not have a positive effect on everyone, and some said that she crossed the red line. It is more than clear that Waters incited violence, and black pastors do not agree with her. This applies to those who oppose the President, too.
“A coalition of black pastors held a press conference on Thursday at the National Press Club to push House Speaker Paul Ryan to censure Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) for encouraging people to confront members of President Donald Trump’s administration. The coalition is a network of some 800 pastors from across the country representing two million African Americans in their congregations,” Breitbart reported.
“Her call to extremism based on where another American citizen works or with whom they associate must be sternly addressed by Speaker Ryan. An apology is not enough,” said Star Parker, president of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE) at the press conference.
“Maxine Waters’ actions are shameful,” said Diante Johnson, president and founder of the Black Conservative Federation at the press conference.
Is Maxine happy with the reaction? She sure hoped that the black pastors would approve her actions and comments, but that did not happen. Maybe this will help her learn the lesson and stop making fun of herself. Nobody is buying her violence-encouraging behavior. Americans are hoping for a greater cause.
